HKEX: Virtual Asset ETP AUM Reaches HK$8.1 Billion by End of September

HKEX Senior Vice President of Securities Product Development Jean-Francois Mesnard-Sense disclosed that virtual asset ETP assets under management reached HK$8.1 billion by the end of September 2023, making Hong Kong the largest virtual asset ETP market in the Asia-Pacific region. At the same time, Hong Kong's ETF market saw average daily trading volume close to HK$38 billion, ranking third globally in liquidity, according to Hong Kong 01. HKEX plans to further digitize the subscription and redemption mechanism for ETP primary markets.
