Asia Pacific has become cryptocurrency's fastest-expanding region with transaction volumes surging 201% from $81 billion in mid-2022 to peak at $244 billion by December 2024, according to Chainalysis. Japan recorded exceptional 120% growth in on-chain value over the 12 months to June 2025, outpacing regional competitors.
