Australia Updates Crypto Rules: AFSL Required by June 30 for Financial Product Providers

Crypto firms in Australia offering financial products must obtain an Australian Financial Services License (AFSL) by 30 June, according to updated ASIC guidelines. Bitcoin, gaming NFTs and tokenised event tickets are not classified as financial products under the new framework.
